Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook at Itawamba Community College Fulton Campus to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of foods for all meal periods and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality while maintaining a clean workstation.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related experience, basic equipment knowledge, and the ability to read and follow recipes, with a High School diploma or GED. Full-time position with benefits and shifting schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold foods per Sodexo standards.
• Maintain a clean workstation and ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Follow recipes and manage production to meet demand.
• Support kitchen teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
