Job summary

TRDI in Universal City, TX is seeking a Cook I to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and catered events. You will follow production logs and instructions from the shift leader while maintaining food safety and quality.

This full-time role requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, Health & Welfare, Paid Time Off, and Paid Holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have commercial cooking experience.
• Must Have ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• Must be able to Work a Flexible Work Schedule.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing clearly.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of items per production log and shift leader directions.
• Set up, cook, and present food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and events.
• Maintain sanitation and safety procedures in line with HACCP policies.
• Check temperatures and log refrigerator temperatures.
• Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.
• Support the shift leader and other cooks to ensure timely service.
