Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook I at Renown South Meadows Medical Center to prepare and present hot and cold items across meal periods. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, following Sodexo's standards for quality, presentation, and safety while maintaining an orderly workstation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–2 years of related experience, with the ability to read recipes and follow instructions. Benefits and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present hot and cold items per Sodexo standards.
• Follow recipes, portion, cook, and ensure safe, sanitary prep areas.
• Estimate production needs, check ingredients, and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and collaborate with kitchen staff.
