Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. seeks a Cook I to deliver friendly, efficient service aboard our Coast Guard-inspected passenger vessel. You will maintain buffet areas, replenish stations, and transport food from galley to dining cabins, ensuring quality and timely service.

You'll read orders, prepare trays, and assist with daily cleaning of galley equipment. The role requires physical stamina, good communication, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year kitchen/culinary experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
• Follow directions and work under supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Service-oriented and guest-focused.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, and extended shifts.
• Comfort with working on a moving vessel and in warm environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to coworkers and guests.
• Maintain buffet areas and replenishment.
• Rotate food to ensure top quality and freshness.
• Read ticketing orders to deliver trays to proper locations.
• Deliver hot and cold food to dining cabin from galley.
• Receive and organize hot line orders; portion and garnish as needed.
• Assist in routine galley cleaning and surface sanitization.
• Maintain uniform and grooming per standards.
