Job summary

Baptist Beaches is seeking a Cook I to join the Dietary Department. This full-time role covers various shift times and days, including weekends, and requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook I to our Dietary Department at Baptist Beaches. This is a full-time opportunity working as needed to cover various shift times and days, including weekends. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in multiple areas within the kitchen and be proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and production methods. ServSafe certification is a plus.

As a Cook I, You Will Be Responsible For

• Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients


• Performing clean, safe, and sanitary work in accordance with department policies


• Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures


• Working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot quickly to perform other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements

• Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred


• Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred

• High School Diploma - Required

This Cook I will be located at Baptist Beaches.
