Job summary

The University of Arizona, on the Tucson Campus, is seeking a Cook I for the Little Italy operation. This on-site role requires following established recipes and producing a variety of items on hot and cold lines, with coordination from supervisors and PM staff. You will prepare daily items, manage ingredients, and assist with cold production as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food on hot or cold production lines in accordance with standardized recipes and preparation methods.
• Prepares daily food items for the restaurant following established recipes.
• Coordinates food preparation needs with supervisor and PM staff.
• Coordinates ordering needs with supervisor and PM staff.
• Performs food preparation tasks, including sandwich, salad and beverage preparation while following written standardized recipes.
• Cleans and processes fruits and vegetables according to recipe specifications.
• Labels, dates, and stores fruits and vegetables in proper areas.
• Assembles and organizes required ingredients to prepare orders.
• Labels and dates products.
• Assists with cold food production when possible.
