The UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA in Tucson is seeking a Cook I to prepare, season, and cook a variety of foods for the Student Unions. This role requires some evening, weekend, and holiday work. Responsibilities include adhering to recipes, coordinating food needs with supervisors, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of food service operations, and the ability to communicate effectively. Excellent U of A benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of large quantity food preparation.
• Ability to operate various kitchen equipment.
• Must be friendly and able to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food on hot or cold production line.
• Coordinate food preparation with supervisor.
• Clean and process fruits and vegetables.
• Assist cold food production when possible.
