CordeValle is seeking a passionate and reliable Cook 1 to join our culinary team. This role supports restaurant outlets and banquet operations, preparing menu items according to established recipes and standards, while maintaining a clean, organized workstation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen.
• Experience in both restaurant and banquet production is a plus.
• Valid Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to read and follow recipes, kitchen tickets and BEOs.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to specification and quality standards.
• Assist with production for restaurant service and banquet events.
• Follow standardized recipes and accurately execute orders from kitchen tickets.
• Support prep work, station setup, and breakdown.
• Ensure consistency, presentation, and proper portion control.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with culinary team to execute high-volume and specialty events.
