Job summary

Vi Living is hiring a Cook for Vi at Lakeside Village in Florida. You will prepare a variety of foods, keep a clean and safe kitchen, and help with deliveries and stocking using FIFO practices.

The role requires basic knife skills, ability to operate kitchen equipment, and a Food Handler certificate where required. A valid driver's license may be needed, and the schedule runs 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with flexible weekend work.

Qualifications

• Prior experience within a high quality restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living company preferred.
• Basic knife skills.
• Ability to handle kitchen equipment.
• Use a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handler certificate, as required.
• Must possess a valid and current driver's license, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Cook and assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area.
• Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotational practices (FIFO).
• May assist kitchen attendant as needed.

Responsibilities

Cook

Assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area. You will also assist with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotational practices. May assist kitchen attendant as needed.

Shift hours: 11am - 7:30pm

Work Flexibility Monday-Sundays and holidays
