Job summary

Vi at Lakeside Village in Lantana, FL is hiring a Cook to prepare all types of food in a safe and sanitary kitchen. You will assist with receiving and stocking deliveries and support kitchen staff as needed.

Shift hours are 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with work flexibility Monday through Sunday including holidays. Vi offers competitive pay, exceptional benefits, generous PTO from day one, a 401k with company match and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living company preferred.
• Basic knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment.
• Willing and able to obtain Food Handler certificate and posses/obtain driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing all types of food in a safe, clean and sanitary area.
• Receive and stock deliveries using proper rotation practices.
• May assist kitchen attendant as needed.
