Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Cook to prepare cooked foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs. The role requires following recipes, communicating with the manager on duty, and ensuring high-quality service to customers and staff.

Essential tasks include stocking, rotation, temperature checks, sanitation, and operating a variety of kitchen equipment. Prior experience in high-volume casual dining is preferred, with safety and food-handling knowledge essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience; high-volume/casual dining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards and safe food handling.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand instructions; communicate with managers and servers.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares items across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs.
• Estimates food requirements and checks production to plan orders.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment; maintains HACCP compliance.
• Operates kitchen equipment and prepares, seasons, and serves food items.
• Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperatures of products.
