Job summary

Church's Chicken is seeking a Kitchen Cook to prepare and cook food products as directed by the Shift Manager, following the operating standards manual. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely service and quality.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, maintaining cleanliness, and coordinating with the Manager in Charge to meet daily demand while upholding safety and sanitation standards in every task. Experience in high-volume operations preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sets up the batter table, collects necessary smallwares, and prepares batter mix.
• Ensures call sheets are complete, posted and used.
• Checks all equipment and reports malfunctions to the Manager in Charge.
• Color balances fryers and maintains proper shortening level.
• Prepares and cooks food as directed by the Manager in Charge.
• Ensures all food meets specifications, procedures and quality standards per SOM and holding times.
• Maintains a clean work area using clean-as-you-go practices.
• Verifies stock at the batter area and keeps cooler organized.
