The iconic Hilton McLean Tysons Corner is looking for a Line Cook to join their culinary team for Harth Restaurant! Located in the heart of Fairfax County's business district, our AAA Four Diamond hotel has 27,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including an amphitheater, executive guest rooms, and delicious American cuisine at the Harth restaurant. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of line cook experience in an upscale restaurant.

Shift Pattern: Typical shifts are from 2pm-10:30pm. Must have weekend and holiday availability.

Pay Rate: $25.25 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and monitoring quality control for hot food items in the hotel's ongoing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing, maintaining, and monitoring quality control for hot food items including, but not limited to, meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and seasonings
• Preparing food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Preparing guest orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation standards at all times
• Visually inspecting all food sent from the kitchen and ensuring plates are clean and appetizing
• Practicing correct food handling and storage procedures according to federal, state, local, and company regulations
