An assisted living community is seeking a Cook to assist in meal preparation and service. Candidates must have a ServSafe certificate and the ability to work well with others. Qualifications

Maintains a current ServSafe certificate or participates in sanitation training.
One year of job-related experience in food preparation.
Ability to work in a safe environment.
One year of job-related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items, and therapeutic diets.
Must be 16 years or older; in NC, must be 18 or older if operating power-driven machines.
Three years' experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred.
Culinary arts experience preferred.
CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred.

Requirements

Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food service sanitation certificate) or able to participate in sanitation training to become certified
High School diploma or GED accepted
A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
One (1) year of job-related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items, and therapeutic diets
Must be 16 years or older; in NC, must be 18 or older if operating power-driven machines
Three years' experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred
