Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is hiring a Cook for Gymkhana at Aria. You will skilfully apply culinary techniques and set the stage for guest experiences with your welcoming service, creating WOW memories during their stay.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year cooking experience, 18+ years of age, and flexibility for on-call shifts including weekends and holidays. Starting rate is $27.4514 USD per hour, with employee dining, parking, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a cook.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a similar resort setting preferred.
• Work on-call varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques.
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.
• Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service.
• Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups.
• Work as a team, assist all guests’ needs and inquiries.

THE STARTING RATE:

$27.4514 USD Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
