MGM Resorts is hiring a Cook Helper for Aria's Convention and Banquets in Las Vegas, NV. You will support the culinary team, assist with preparation, and help create memorable dining experiences for guests.

Must be 18+ with at least 6 months of relevant experience and basic food preparation skills. Shift work includes weekends and holidays; a team-first attitude is essential to deliver WOW moments during events.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of prior relevant experience, including basic food preparation preferred.
• Work on call varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions properly and place in designated area.
• Maintain knowledge of food products.
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
• Label and date products for safekeeping and sanitation; assist the pantry worker, cooks, and chef as needed.
• Work as a team and assist guests and employees with their needs and inquiries.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

As a Cook Helper at Aria's Convention and Banquets, you will play a key role in bringing unforgettable dining experiences to life. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Ensure requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area
• Maintain solid knowledge of food products
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
• Regularly run for food and restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitationAssist the pantry worker, cook, master cook and chef as needed in execution of service
• Work as a team, assist guests and employees with their needs and inquiries
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• 6+ months of prior relevant experience, including basic food preparation preferred
