Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in a collaborative, supportive setting. Follow dietary guidelines, maintain a clean kitchen, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation.

We offer competitive pay between $19 and $25 per hour, with benefits including health coverage, retirement options, and paid time off. This role is hourly, part-time, and located on-site with occasional weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurants preferred.
• Food safety knowledge preferred; ServSafe certification a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
• Physical ability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals with focus on quality, taste and nutrition for residents.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain clean, organized kitchen spaces.
• Accommodate dietary needs, including allergen-free and modified meals.
• Manage inventory and track supplies to ensure availability.
• Assist with other duties as assigned within the Culinary Department.

Schedule

Part Time |16 hours per pay period | 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. | Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Pay Range

$19 to $25/hour (hourly non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.
