Job summary

Friendship Village Senior Living Communities in Chesterfield, MO is hiring a Full-Time Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents and create a memorable dining experience. The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and collaboration with the Culinary Services team.

Weekend rotation and a $5,000 sign-on bonus are included. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cooking experience in healthcare or senior living, and strong teamwork and communication

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and production schedules
• Ensure food is prepared, plated, and presented according to quality standards
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products
• Assist with meal preparation, special events, and catering as needed
• Monitor food quality, temperatures, and portion sizes
• Collaborate with the Culinary Services team to ensure an exceptional dining experience for residents
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
