Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals that support residents’ health and enjoyment in a safe, clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain quality and temperature logs, and assist with dishwashing and dining service as needed.

The role includes leading food production when the Dining Services Coordinator is absent, ensuring dietary modifications are followed and meals meet Sunrise standards.

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
