We are hiring a full-time Cook to provide healthy and homemade meals within a convent home for Franciscan sisters in Livonia, MI (near Madonna University, off Schoolcraft Road). This is a full-time position (32-40 hours per week) working days and afternoons, with every weekend required.

General Summary

The Cook’s primary responsibility is to prepare food according to established menus, recipes, and sanitary standards, ensuring compliance with food service standards and organizational policies. Our employees work together to support the religious life of sisters by creating a warm, caring environment, engaging in meaningful interactions, and fostering teamwork across departments.

Education And Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of food service or restaurant experience, preferably in a commercial or institutional setting.
• Experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, hospital, or healthcare environment is preferred but not required. SERV Safe certification is a plus.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
