Job summary

Four Corners Regional Health Care Center in Blanding, UT seeks a full-time Line/Prep Cook to support high-volume meal production and service in our skilled nursing facility.

You will test recipes, keep the kitchen clean, assist with inspections, manage storage temps, and mentor aides as needed while delivering friendly, prompt service.

Qualifications

• One year of cooking experience in a high-volume environment is preferred.
• Food Handler's Permit is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Ability to guide cook-aides and dish-aides when needed.
• Positive, proactive attitude and prompt service are valued.
• Desire to learn and grow in the cooking profession.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service
• Test new recipes
• Clean the kitchen; put away/organize food deliveries
• Assist with kitchen inspections as needed, to ensure the foodservice production area is safe and sanitary.
• Inspect storage areas on a regular basis for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and order
