Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team in Oregon. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents, follow standardized recipes, and collaborate with the Dining Services leadership to deliver high-quality dining experiences.

The role requires at least 2 years of cooking experience, a current Food Handler’s and ServSafe certification, and the ability to work Thursday through Monday with variable hours. Benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current Food Handler’s Certification/Permit, required.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• Culinary Arts degree or formal vocational training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to planned menus and recipes to ensure high quality and flavor.
• Ensure proper stocking and inventory use per recipes.
• Follow all regulations and policies for food safety and sanitation, reporting infractions as needed.
• Handle orders promptly and maintain correct temperatures for service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and kitchen areas.
