Job summary

Responsibilities include preparing scratch-made meals, assisting with inventory, supervising staff when needed, and ensuring kitchen cleanliness. A HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years cooking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1–2 years of similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals according to menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Store food and kitchen items to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Supervise dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and complete cleaning tasks.
• Prepare and stock snacks and pantry items for resident areas.
