Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC is seeking a diligent Cook to prepare and serve meals that support residents' health and well-being in a long-term care setting. You will follow established safety standards, assist with inventory, and supervise dietary staff when needed.

Responsibilities include prepping meals per menus, station setup, maintaining cleanliness, and utilizing systems to ensure a great dining experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
