Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items following company policies, programs, and standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and a positive work environment under the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty.

You will work with a team to maintain food quality, safety, and efficiency during service, with training and advancement opportunities and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Sanitation, safety and customer service are taught through in-house training.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work well groomed, in a clean and proper uniform, and maintains hygiene.
• Uses, maintains, and cleans kitchen line equipment, and prep areas.
• Stocks and rotates products on the cooking line.
• Has knowledge of stations, menu items and prep procedures for correct portions.
• Cooks and prepares menu items per guest requests within standards and safety procedures.
• Monitors temperatures to reduce foodborne illness risk.
• Identifies and corrects system issues to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Communicates with the Manager on Duty and coworkers about deficiencies or safety problems.
