Job summary

Sodexo in Central Oregon is seeking a Cook to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold foods for all meals and events, following Sodexo’s culinary standards for quality and consistency.

The role is full-time with shifts varying; requires 0–2 years of experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, ability to stand long hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and to follow recipes and safety procedures. Benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold foods according to standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and work safely.
• Support kitchen teamwork and uphold food safety standards.
• Duties may vary by account and client requirements.
• Follow current recipes and product directions for soups, meats, vegetables, desserts.
