Job summary

Sodexo in Idaho is seeking a Cook I to prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and cold items for all meal periods and events in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow Sodexo culinary standards for quality, safety and sanitation, support kitchen teamwork and maintain a clean workstation.

Shifts vary with open availability preferred; part-time or full-time roles available. Minimum requirement is a High School diploma or equivalent and 0–2 years of related experience; training and

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items.
• Maintain safe, accurate, and efficient food prep in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Support Sodexo's culinary standards for quality, presentation, and sanitation.
