Filling Home in Napoleon, OH is seeking a Cook/Dietary Aide for full-time 2nd shift (11:00am–7:00pm). You will assist with meal preparation according to menus and dietary orders, ensuring meals meet nutritional and temperature requirements.

You will follow standardized recipes, communicate effectively with residents and staff, supervise dietary tasks, and help maintain clean, organized kitchen operations during your shift. Flexibility and good physical condition are required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food on menu, making substitutions in menu only to make best use of food and to maintain nutritional value.
• Serve meals in appropriate quantities and at proper temperatures.
• Economical use of equipment and food supplies to provide attractive, nutritious meals.
• Cooperate with other departments to meet residents' dietary needs.
• Attend departmental and facility staff meetings and supervise the dietary aide.
• Work on scheduled days and times and assist during emergencies when requested.
• Clean any equipment used for meal preparation during the shift.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.

Cook/Dietary Aide # Cook/Dietary AideNapoleon, OH 43545## Description**Position Title:**Cook/Dietary Aide**Location:** Main Campus - Napoleon**Hours:** Full-time 2nd shift, 11:00am – 7:00pm**Job Summary:**Preparation of meals according to menu and serving of meals in accordance with individual resident’s diet.**Responsibilities:** * Prepare food on menu, making substitutions in menu only to make best use of food, supplies, and to maintain equivalent calorie value and nutritional quality.* Ensure that food is served in appropriate quantity, at appropriate temperatures and in a form consistent with the developmental level of the resident.* Economical use of equipment and food supplies to prepare an attractive and nutritionally adequate meal following the menu and physician’s orders.* Cooperate with other departments within the facility to insure nutritional and dietary needs of residents are met.* Attend all departmental and facility in-service meetings.
