Job summary

PACS Group in Dayton, OH is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal and snack preparation, assemble trays, and assist with meal service in a resident-centered environment. You will deliver meals, help with dishwashing, and maintain sanitation, under the supervision of the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, are reliable and team-oriented, and prepared to follow food safety guidelines and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and respectful in a resident-centered environment.
• Food service experience helpful; training may be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal and snack preparation as directed.
• Assemble trays, portion items, and help with meal service.
• Deliver meals to halls.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Stock and rotate supplies using safe storage practices.
• Follow food safety guidelines, allergy precautions, and infection control procedures.
• Communicate needs, concerns, or changes to the Dietary Manager.
