Edencrest at Green Meadows is recruiting for Cook/Culinary Assistants. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring an excellent dining experience at our community. You will work as part of a team assisting with the operations of the dining room and kitchen, and interacting with residents, families, and staff to coordinate the dining experience. You will also support compliance with state and federal guidelines, aiming to provide the best possible dining experience.

Available Shifts

• Part-time: 8am-2pm or 11am-7pm, Rotating Weekends

Daily responsibilities include:

• Understanding menus, recipes, and dietary preferences, including regulatory requirements and individual needs.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen, and equipment.
• Supporting scratch cooking techniques to prepare fresh, nutritious meals.
• Managing the dining environment to ensure a positive experience for residents.

Qualifications required:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A passion for food preparation, taste, and presentation.
• Strong aptitude for kitchen management and food service.
