Base pay range

$17.78/hr - $20.73/hr

Position Details

Title: Cafeteria - Assistant Cook/Baker

Type of Position: Part-time (6.5 hours/day, 32.5 hours/week); immediate start; salary per collective bargaining agreement, range $17.78-$20.73/hour, based on experience.

Location: Elmwood School, Hopkinton, MA

Area of Consideration: All qualified candidates

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to students and staff according to instructions.
• Act as cashier.
• Clean kitchen areas according to sanitary regulations.
• Store all food properly.
• Follow safety instructions when using equipment.
• Back-up for the Cafeteria Manager as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read basic instructions.
• Ability to give and receive instructions and information.
• Basic knowledge of food service and sanitation practices.
• Other qualifications as deemed appropriate by the Food Service Director or Superintendent.
