Edencrest at Riverwoods is recruiting for a Cook/Culinary Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellence of the dining experience at their community. You will participate as part of a team operating the dining room, kitchen, and interacting with residents, families, and staff to coordinate the dining experience.

Available Shifts

• Part-time, 6am-2pm, 11am-7pm
• Part-Time, 9am-2pm

Daily responsibilities include:

• Preparing outstanding food following menus, recipes, and regulatory and individual preferences.
• Managing the dining room environment and overall experience.
• Supporting scratch cooking techniques to provide fresh, flavorful, and nutritious meals daily.
• Cleaning and maintaining dishes, kitchen, and equipment to ensure sanitation and proper functioning.

Qualifications we require:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A passion for quality food preparation, taste, and presentation.
• Two years of related culinary or kitchen management experience, or demonstrated high aptitude for food and kitchen management.
