Job summary

Hours typically Monday–Friday 7am–3pm with a competitive hourly wage. Requirements include knife skills, production skills, ability to follow recipes, and strong sanitation habits.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of food handling, sanitation and safety.
• 3+ years cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to use all kitchen equipment and follow recipes precisely.
• Knife handling skills and cooking techniques (braising, sauté, sear, grill).
• Proper recipe conversion and measuring.
• Serve Safe and Allergen Certification preferred.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Culinary education in progress or completed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality food product and presentation.
• Oversee taste, appearance and portions of dishes.
• Maintain clean, organized and sanitary work area.
• Read and follow company recipes precisely.
• Manage time to stay on track at station.
• Adhere to daily menus and prep lists.
• Work independently at assigned station.
• Engage with customers to provide a positive experience.
• Suggest add-ons to orders and up-sell when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service.
