Job Description:

1. Job Summary: The Cook/Baker prepares food items according to menu and production forecast. Ensures accuracy and quality of recipes and food items. Assists in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the cook's area. Performs other duties as needed.
2. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum six months food service experience with demonstrated cooking skills required.
3. Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English. Capable of following written and oral instructions. Able to distinguish colors and hear sufficiently to perform duties safely. Able to operate standard equipment safely. Works independently.
4. Licensures and Certifications: Food Handler's Certification from San Bernardino County Public Health Department required upon hire. SafeServ certification preferred. Courses available at https://sbc.statefoodsafety.com/ and https://www.servsafe.com/ServSafe-Manager/Get-Certified.
