Location Description

Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high in the San Bernardino Mountains at 5,174’ elevation. Surrounded by Ponderosa Pines, it offers exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a 780-acre reservoir. The resort provides a range of outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. Facilities include a bar & restaurant, spa & wellness center, outdoor pool & lake beach, and over 23,000 sq. ft of meeting and event space.

Qualifications: Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work Experience

• RBS certificate and San Bernardino County Food Handler’s Certificate required or must be obtained.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• High-volume experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food and service standards.
• Pleasant personality and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule required.

Essential Functions:

1. Greet guests warmly and take food and drink orders.
2. Attend to details such as allergies and preferences.
3. Prepare and serve beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty drinks.
4. Prepare and serve food items like pastries, muffins, and sandwiches.
5. Follow all food safety and health regulations.
6. Process payments via POS systems.
7. Respond to guest questions and complaints.
8. Educate guests on promotions and new products.
9. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
10. Keep workspaces clean and organized.
11. Monitor and communicate inventory needs.
12. Stock inventory at opening and closing.
13. Adhere to dress code standards.
14. Stay informed about resort amenities and events.

Marginal Functions:

1. Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
2. Assist in other areas of Food and Beverage as needed.

Compensation Range

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $16.50 to $17.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
