Resorts at Chester River Manor in Chestertown, MD is seeking a dependable Cook to join our Dietary Team. The Cook prepares nutritious meals for residents following dietary guidelines, safety rules, and sanitation standards while delivering a positive dining experience.

You will work with the Dietary Manager to meet residents' nutritional needs, prepare meals in large quantities, and assist with special events.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required; long-term care, nursing home, healthcare, or institutional cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to prepare meals in large quantities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and resident dietary requirements.
• Ensure food is prepared, portioned, and served according to established standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
