Job summary

A leading catering company is seeking an experienced culinary professional in South Foxboro. The ideal candidate will be responsible for high volume, high quality preparation of catered event foods and may involve cooking in public. With at least 3 years of upscale food preparation experience, you will lead small teams, adhere to safety procedures, and demonstrate proficiency in various cooking methods. Capability to stand for long periods and a Serve-Safe certification are required.

Qualifications

Summary

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items from posted production lists
• Cook and present menu items to specification
• Adhere to food and work safety procedures and keep organized work area
• Lead small groups to execute event foods
• Work club concession stands and action stations as needed
• Some roles may require strict confidentiality
• Special projects and assignments as business dictates

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position may oversee small groups of cooks in preparation projects and event execution

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of upscale food preparation in high volume catering operation or restaurant
• Culinary degree or certification preferred
• Demonstrate ability in all cooking methods: Grilling to temperature, sautéing, roasting, braising, deep frying, poaching
• Excellent attendance
• Devoted learner
