Job summary

Qualifications

• Washington State Food Worker Card required (WSFWC).
• 2 years cooking experience in a professional, fast-paced environment preferred.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Attend all required meetings on time.
• Stock and set up kitchen stations.
• Ensure all menu items meet recipe specifications, quality, and preparation standards.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to complete orders on time and to standard.
• Complete opening, running, closing duties and side work.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety procedures and laws.
• Maintain a safe working environment to reduce incidents.

Selkirk Pizza & Tap House is currently hiring full and part time cook positions.

Selkirk Pizza & Tap House is a locally owned and operated Spokane restaurant specializing in delicious pizza.

Selkirk Pizza & Tap House is proud of our Northwest heritage and strives to offer local flavors and ambience that is unique to the Inland Northwest. We use fresh, locally grown produce and we hand-craft our dough daily. We strive to serve the best tasting and high quality pizza possible.

Wage

• Pay range for position: $17.13 to $22.00 per hour
• Earn weekly tips

Responsibilities/Duties

• Follow all policies and procedures
• On time and attend all meetings
• Stock and set up kitchen stations
• Ensure that all food products and menu items meet company recipe specifications for preparation, quality and preparation
• Work with front of house staff to ensure that orders are completed according to food & service standards and on time
• Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
• Ensure sanitation and food safety procedures, regulations and laws are strictly followed
• Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of incident, injury and food handling related issues

Skills/Experience

• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
• Two (2) years previous cooking experience in a professional and fast paced environment preferred
