Job summary

Fieldhouse Pizza & Pub in Spokane, WA is seeking a part-time bartender with at least two years of experience to join our North location (and Liberty Lake site). The role includes taking orders, handling payments, and upselling specials while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Applicants must have a Washington State Food Worker Card and MAST/Class 12 or 13, plus flexibility to work weekends and stand for long periods. Fieldhouse values teamwork and community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years bartending experience preferred.
• WSFWC and MAST/Class 12 or 13 required.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends.
• Ability to listen and respond to customer needs.
• Stand for prolonged periods and lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and procedures.

Overview

Fieldhouse Pizza & Pub North is currently hiring for part time bartender positions. A minimum of 2 years bartending experience preferred.

Fieldhouse Pizza & Pub has two locally owned locations. One is on the north side of Spokane and the other is in Liberty Lake.

Wage

Pay range for position: $17.13 to $17.13 per hour

Responsibilities/Duties

• Follow all policies and procedures
• On time and attend all meetings
• Take orders and payments from customers for food and beverages following all steps of service guidelines
• Upsell by being proactive with suggestive selling and alerting customers to specials, promotional items and/or events
• Deliver and announce food and drinks to guests with efficiency, accuracy, and enthusiasm
• Accommodate and fulfill any special requests for guests
• Communicate and work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are delivered timely and according to Fieldhouse Pizza & Pub standards
• Correct any issues courteously and quickly
• Check with customers throughout their meal to ensure that they are enjoying their visit and take action to correct any problems
• Maintain a working knowledge of all food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
• Assist team members with any additional tasks as needed
• Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
• Follow all health and alcohol beverage service standards and maintain a clean workspace
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation and safety guidelines

Skills/Experience

• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
• Washington State MAST/Class 12 or 13
• One (1) year previous restaurant service experience preferred
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
• Strong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
