Job summary

Haven of Tuscola is seeking a Cook for a part-time PM shift at our Haven of Tuscola facility. You will prepare and serve residents’ meals, support meal delivery, and keep the kitchen clean and sanitary to meet facility standards.

Experience in healthcare food service is preferred; teamwork and customer service are essential as you collaborate with the dietary team to provide safe, high-quality meals for residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively with the dietary team.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours, including some weekends and holidays.
• Previous cook experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve residents’ daily meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and work areas.
• Assist with tray line setup and meal delivery.
• Work in dish room and support overall dietary operations.
• Follow all facility, OBRA, Federal, State, and regulatory guidelines.
