Job summary

Extended Care, LLC is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve daily meals in our facility, following planned menus and resident dietary needs. You will maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and help ensure timely delivery of meal trays to patient areas, while complying with sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards.

We value teamwork with the dietary staff and reliable weekend/holiday availability. This full-time role includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities to support residents

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with the dietary team.
• Availability to work scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Recent experience as a Cook in a healthcare environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve daily meals according to resident dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Assist in setting up the tray line and ensure timely delivery of meal trays to patient areas.
• Work in the dish room and maintain high sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and team members to ensure meal satisfaction.
