Job summary

Johnny Carinos in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a reliable line cook to join our busy kitchen. You will prepare menu items, read orders, and cook according to recipes and timing guidelines.

• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, stoves, and dishwashers.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Set up work station.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
• Be a core team member in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Previous Line Cook or cooking experience preferred

Physical Demands:

• Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 50 pounds in weight
• Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves
• Mobility required during the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
