Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a part-time Cook to join our Nutrition & Food Services team. The Cook will assist with patient and cafeteria meals, and support catering and special events under the supervision of the leadership team.

Schedule is 0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week, days/evenings, with every other weekend. High school education preferred but not required; English proficiency required. Food safety and kitchen equipment knowledge are helpful.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and kitchen equipment helpful.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute meals for patients and their families.
• Perform designated work and cleaning routines for the department.
