Job summary

Methodist Hospital in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Cook to join our Nutrition & Food Services team. The Cook will help prepare meals for patients and families, support cafeteria service, and assist with catered events.

Work schedule is 0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week, days and evenings, every other weekend.

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of food safety, sanitation and kitchen equipment, and the ability to read, speak and understand English.

Position Summary: Our Nutrition & Food Services Cooks perform a variety of patient food services, cafeteria food services, catered events, and other special assigned tasks under the supervisor of our Nutrition & Food Services leadership team. The Cooks alongside of the Dietary Aides will be responsible for the preparation and execution of meals for patients & their families. The Cooks perform designated work and cleaning routines for the department. The Cooks will ensure that meals are prepared and presented with excellence as to provide quality customer service.

Work Schedule: FTE 0.5, 20 hours per week, days/evenings, every other weekend.
