Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team and serve meals to residents in a warm, home-like environment. You will work with staff to ensure nutritious options and a pleasant dining experience.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare, a valid food handler permit, and the ability to read and follow recipes and logs. Reliability and teamwork are valued in delivering safe, sanitary meals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience as a cook in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for our residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents’ day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
