Job summary

Atria Senior Living is hiring a cook to join our kitchen team in Los Angeles. You will prepare and cook meals for residents, build positive relationships with residents and staff, and ensure the kitchen remains clean, safe and sanitary at all times.

We expect 1–3 years of cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare, and a valid food handlers permit as required by state law or company standards. This role supports a resident-focused dining experience in a community setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law or company standards.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for residents.

• Understand that dining in a restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents’ day.
