Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Cook to join the kitchen team and prepare meals for residents in a supportive, community-focused environment.

You will read recipes and follow guidelines, maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, and contribute to a dining experience that residents look forward to each day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Join kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Maintain dining in a restaurant-style atmosphere as a highlight of residents' day.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and sanitary at all times.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs
