Job summary

Atria Senior Living in New York is seeking a cook to join our kitchen team, preparing meals for residents in a welcoming, restaurant-style dining setting.

You will work with residents and staff to ensure high quality meals, follow recipes and schedules, and keep the kitchen clean and sanitary.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handler permit as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Join kitchen staff to prepare and cook food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, staff and coworkers.
• Maintain dining in a restaurant-style atmosphere as a highlight of residents' day.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and sanitary at all times.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment
