Job summary

Atria Senior Living seeks a dedicated cook to join our kitchen team at our community. You will assist in preparing meals for residents, contributing to a warm, restaurant-style dining experience, and supporting a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, following recipes, and maintaining high hygiene standards to ensure resident satisfaction and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience as a cook in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Provide dining in a restaurant-style atmosphere for residents.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety at all times.
