Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Walnut Creek is seeking a professional cook to join our kitchen team serving our residents. You will prepare and cook meals, read and follow recipes, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment in a supportive community.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare, a GED or high school diploma, and any applicable food handler permits. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement within a company that values

• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents’ day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
